A luxurious armchair upholstered in contemporary textiles and a generous writing desk provide comfort. Amongst art from the Museum in the Medina you will find an original hand-written letter to Talitha Getty from interior designer Bill Willis.

Through the traditional Moroccan hardwood door to the walk-in wet-room with rain-shower, vanity basin and WC all set within shimmering taupe coloured zellige tiling and tadelakt walls.

Talitha Gettyb. 1940-1971

TALITHA GETTY was a Dutch actress, socialite, and model who was regarded as a style icon of the late 1960s. She lived much of her adult life in Britain and—in her final years—the Moroccan city of Marrakesh. Her husband was the oil heir and subsequent philanthropist JOHN PAUL GETTY JR.

A Museum in the Medina

Live amongst an important collection of Contemporary and Digital Art within the Museum in The Medina at Izza. MITM is a founding member of our House of Friends. The museum shares more than 300 carefully curated artworks within our guest rooms and public spaces in arguably one of the world’s most significant physical exhibitions of printed NFT’s (Non-Fungible Token artworks).

Each artwork is accompanied by an object label with relevant information and a QR code allowing guests to discover more about the art and artist.
