Ziad Naitaddi

Ziad Naitaddi, born in Rabat in 1995, is a Moroccan artist based in Salé. Initially inspired by cinema, he delved into photography in 2015, often oscillating between digital and traditional practices. Naitaddi's unique approach, which he terms "photographic exhumation," involves re-examining archives and revisiting his older works. Through this method, he aims to present diverse depictions of Morocco and its culture. Often focusing on themes of migration, exile, and identity, his intimate yet political captures evoke profound emotions, emphasizing the collaborative nature of photography.
